1st Half: Kristin Miller, Co-Founder POCA of DuPage - 504 Plans
Kristin Miller will be speaking to the group on 504 Plans for our children attending public schools and what we need to be aware of. This will be a great, informative meeting, so we hope you can make it.

1st Half: Kathleen Sullivan, President & Founder of Eat, Learn, Live Foundation (ELL)
Eat, Learn, Live (ELL) is a not-for-profit foundation created to raise awareness of food labeling inaccuracies, to provide advocacy in creating safe educational environments, and to provide tools to assist those affected by food allergies and anaphylaxis. Their efforts are on behalf of the 12 million Americans and 2.2 million school-aged children who have a food allergy.
2nd Half: Kathleen has offered to do a book signing at our meeting of her new book, "The Party is at the Safe House." She will also raffle off a couple of the books and bring an assortment of sample foods from the recipes included in the book.

Topic: Christine will provide a presentation on "Back to School" tips.

Dominique Tougne, Co-Owner and Executive Chef of Bistro 110, Chicago.
Topic: Dominique was FAAN's Honorary Walk Chair in Chicago in 2006 and 2007 for the Walk for Food Allergy. He will discuss his background, Bistro 110 and dealing with food allergies in his restaurant. We are very excited to have Dominique visit our group again!

1st Half: Erin Wiencek
, Assistant Director of Ticket Operations with Kane County Cougars.
Topic: Kane County Cougars is one of the most popular minor league baseball teams in the country. Erin will share with us details about Peanut Free Night at the ballpark, scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, that includes a post-game fireworks show and the opportunity for fans to run the bases after the game.
